Q: Will Camping be Available?
A: We do not offer camping at Water Works Park. However there are several camping sites around Des Moines such as The Iowa State Fair Grounds.
Q: What time do the gates open?
A: Gates open at approximately 11am. The first act is tentatively scheduled to begin at NOON. Although the exact times can change.
Q: What time will the concerts be over with?
A: On Sunday the BIG Country Bash is scheduled to end at 9:15pm and no later that 10:00pm.
Q: Is there assigned seating?
A: All tickets are general admission.
Q: Will there be cash available on the Big Country Bash grounds?
A: Yes, we will have 4 ATM machines to dispense cash onsite at the Big Country Bash.
Q: Can we buy tickets at the gate?
A: Yes, but ticket prices will be higher at the gate so it is advised you buy your tickets in advance.
Q: Do kids 12 and under need a ticket?
A: No tickets are needed.
Q: Will seating be available?
A: You need to bring your own chairs.
Q: What if it is raining?
A: The BIG Country Bash is a rain or shine event. Personal umbrellas will be allowed if it is raining ONLY. No patio umbrellas allowed.
Q: Can I bring a camera?
A: Yes, you may bring an ordinary 35mm camera or digital camera. No video cameras or cameras with telephoto lenses will be allowed.
Q: What is ?
A: Premium Parking is new to the Big Country Bash in 2009. For $5.00 you can park in a special lot with easy in-and-out access. PLUS Premium Parking BCB goers will get to come in a special entrance close to the stage. Premium Parking will start at 9 a.m. and when the lot is full, it’s full. Parking in the regular public lot is free.
Q: Will handicap parking be available?
A: Yes, a limited amount of handicap parking will be available to people with the proper credentials.
Q: Can I go back to my car if I forgot something?
A: No re-entry will be allowed. Vehicles are outside of the ticketed area and are off limits after you enter the concert for security and safety.
Q: Where is Water Works Park?
A: Water Works Park is off of George Flagg Parkway (SW Valley Drive on the map) just south of downtown Des Moines. Follow the signs. Click here for a Map
Q: Can we bring coolers?
A: No coolers will be allowed.
Q: Can I bring a camera?

A: No animals allowed at the BIG Country Bash.
Q: Can we bring food and drinks including water?
